Privacy policy for registration in the Grant Application Tool of the GraduateCenterLMU
After the registration and authentication for the Grant Application Tool of the GraduateCenterLMU have been carried out, it is possible to return to the restricted-access area without going through the registration process again.
In order to facilitate this, the following personal profile data of registered users are saved for longer than the duration of the application process:
- Username
- Email address
- Title, first name and last name
- Address
- Telephone number
- Date of birth
These profile data are deleted 18 months after the last occasion on which the tool is used. In addition, deletion of the data can be requested at any time by sending an email to graduatecenter@lmu.de.
The additional data collected specifically for the grant application are deleted from the tool at the latest eight months after the conclusion of the application process.
The collected data is used solely for administrative and – in anonymized form – statistical purposes and is not passed on to parties outside of LMU Munich.
